Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL) has announced encouraging assay results from its reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the New England Granite Prospect, part of the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project. Yandal Resources has reported promising assay results from its drilling at the New England Granite Prospect. Significant gold mineralization was found in two RC holes, with hole 24IWBRC0039 showing 78 meters at 1.2 g/t gold from 96 meters, and hole 24IWBRC0044 intercepting 14 meters at 1.8 g/t gold from 63 meters. The Siona discovery remains open at depth and along strike, suggesting further exploration potential. Yandal plans additional drilling to define the mineralized system's geometry and scale. The company is focused on expanding its resource base within the Yandal Greenstone Belt, aligning with the positive outlook for gold mining in the region. Results from further drilling are anticipated in the coming weeks, with additional exploration underway at other project targets.
Managing Director Chris Oorschot expressed optimism about the discovery's potential, given the current favorable gold price environment. The results validate the revised targeting model developed after previous diamond drilling.
